Vittorio De Sicas Meisterwerk des italienischen Neorealismus "Fahrraddiebe / Ladri di biciclette / The Bicycle Thieves [DVD-Titel]" [I 1948] wird am 20. Februar 2006 von Arrow Films veröffentlicht. Laut DVD-Reviewer wird die DVD die Dokumentation "Timeless Cinema: A documentary on Vittorio De Sica", den Trailer und eine Fotogalerie mit Postern und Aushangfotos enthalten.
Gibt es davon eigentlich schon eine DVD in ordentlicher Qualität?

Die us DVD von Image ist schaubar, mehr nicht.

Vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Ich habe mal auf der Arrow Film-WebSite nachgeschaut. Hier sind die Infos zu finden. Die DVD wird also auch ein paar Extras aufweisen können:

Zu "Miracle in Milan" wurde bei DVD-Times eine Kritik verfasst. Der Transfer scheint nicht ganz ohne Probleme zu sein, hat aber 7 von 10 Punkten bekommen. Wenn "Bicycle Thieves" auch so ausfällt, dann werde ich mir den bestellen.
