Ein neues britisches Label mit dem Namen "Second Run" ist auf dem Markt erschienen.

Each Second Run film is our personal selection reflecting significant films which we love and care about, and which we believe should be seen by others for their quality and importance.
Every Second Run release is re-mastered to the best possible sound and picture quality and, wherever possible, incorporates a range of original extras. Our films will always appear in their original aspect ratio and in their original language version with English subtitles only.
Second Run DVD launches in Summer 2005. You can find the full details of our first set of releases on www.secondrundvd.com. We hope that these films convey to you the ethos of Second Run. Following our launch this Summer, we will regularly release equally significant films from South America, India, Japan, Iran, Africa and many other parts of the world.

Nighthawks a film by Ron Peck and Paul Hallam - UK 1978

In The Land Of The Deaf (Le Pays des sourds) director Nicolas Philibert - France 1992

Hi,
Holla, was für eine Filmauswahl. 
Bis auf die beiden Nighthawk Filme, Another Way und In the Land of the Deaf, die ich alle nicht kenne, sind das imho absolute Pflichkäufe!
Hatte bei denen schon angefragt ob die nicht Daisies und The Joke, vor dessen Facets DVD's ich mich bis dato drücke, raus bringen, hab aber leider die Antwort bekommen:

Like you, we too love both Jires' 'The Joke' and Chytilova's 'Daisies'. But Second Run's first objective is to present important films that have never been released on DVD before; and both those films are available in R1. You should be able to find them at all good US e-shops.
We hope you will continue to support us and even try out some of our films that you may not have seen before.

The first of a collection of director Miklos Jancso's films which Second Run will be releasing through 2006. A brand new anamorphic transfer, with newly translated English subtitles.
